Additional Pandemic Relief for Clients in 2021​​

As we continue to adjust to our new normal from the COVID-19 pandemic, some of our insurance partners have offered more support in 2021 in addition to the relief provided last year. Please stay tuned as we are updating the list as more information is released.

CAA

CAA announced an additional 15% rate reduction for a 12-month term for their clients. This rate relief applies automatically to all new customers effective April 15, 2021, and to existing customers whose auto policies renew on or after June 15, 2021. For customers whose auto policies renewed between January 1 and June 14, 2021, they can apply for the incremental rate relief by completing an online form. Intact and Jevco

Intact announced relief equal to one month’s auto premium for their clients. Clients can request the relief from March 18 to May 31, 2021 by answering one, simple eligibility question on their Client Centre account, Intact App or by contacting your Goodrates broker to request the relief on your behalf. Jevco clients are also eligible for this relief and can apply by filling out this simple form.

Additional Relief

While our insurance partners are providing some relief, there are still a number of additional steps you can take to reduce your premium payments. You may be able to update your annual mileage, suspend your coverage, or switch to usage-based insurance to name a few available options.
