The Ontario Ministry of Transportation announced on Twitter that starting today (April 22), some Ontario highways will have a permanent speed limit of 110 km/h. The usual speed limit on other highways is 100 km/h.

Queen Elizabeth Road (QEW) from Hamilton to St. Catharines (32 km)
Highway 402 from London to Sarnia (90 km)
Highway 417 from Ottawa to the Ontario/Quebec border (102 km)
Highway 401 from Windsor to Tilbury (about 40 km)
Highway 404 from Newmarket to Woodbine (approximately 16 km)
Highway 417 from Kanata to Arnprior (about 37 km)
Highway 400 from MacTier to Nobel (about 55 km)
Highway 11 from Emsdale to South River (about 45 km)
They launched a speed limit pilot program on three Ontario highway sections at the time. The pilot program was originally planned to last for two years, but was extended for another two years.
